What happens to your recycling?

Do Your Part Recycling was founded in June 2006 with the idea of making recycling accessible to everyone. The user pay system has been a great model for other similar communities in the Northwest. The company started out with a van and garage with 30 clients. Today we service over 500 residents and 80+ businesses. Recycling with us is easy as putting ALL material into one bag and dropping it off at the curb. Do Your Part and let us do the rest.

Once we pick up your recycling the material is then sorted and baled for processing. It is then shipped to the lower mainland for further processing. Depending on the material, it can be shipped over seas for further processing.

Do you need secure, reliable and confidential shredding done? We offer competitive rates and pick up. Our shredder will take your private documents and cross cut them to a level three security. After the material is shredded it is then recycled completing the cycle.Rates $8-$11/box*Prices do not include HST *based on a standard banker box*prices may very depending on usage.

Acceptable Materals

Paper - All newspaper, office paper, glossy paper/magazines, wrapping paper, brown paper bags, envelopes, brochures and folders.

Plastics- All household plastic food containers #1-7. Plastic film and bags. ALL containers and bags must be clean! We cannot accept brittle plastics or plastic lids.

Cardboard/Boxboard - Acceptable materials need to be flattened

Metals- All household metals. Please ensure that all items are clean.

Additional Items that are acceptable:

How to.....

It really is as easy as 1..2..3!

Place all the acceptable materials in a transparent bag and put the bag at the end of the curb!! We'll do the rest. The material is taken to our warehouse were it is sorted and baled for further processing. Our material's final destination is the Lower Mainland, where it goes to a mill for further processing.
