Recyclables need not be sorted, however, must be contained in an an extra large transparent garbage bag. we will provide your first two bags upon sign up for our service.

ALL RECYCLING MUST BE CLEAN TO BE RECYCLED. PLEASE RINSE ALL BOTTLES AND CONTAINERS BEFORE PUTTING THEM IN YOUR BAG.

Paper
Plastic
Tin and Glass

Acceptable:

  • white and colored paper
  • coated paper
  • junk mail
  • magazines
  • newspaper
  • envelopes
  • brochures
  • post-it notes
  • folders
  • books
  • office paper
  • flour bags
  • labels from tin cans
  • wrapping & packing paper
  • cardboard boxes (flattened please)
  • milk cartons
  • milk tetras

Note: Please contain shredded paper in a separate bag.

Unacceptable:

  • construction paper
  • tissues e.g. kleenex
  • napkins
  • paper towel
  • food wrappers
  • waxed paper
  • overheads
  • carbon paper
  • photographs

Please rinse all bottles and containers clean.

Look for the recycle symbol on the bottom of plastics.

Acceptable:

  • all plastic bottles and containers #1-7. For example, see recycle symbol below with a number in the middle:
  • plastic film
  • plastic bags (includes grocery bags, frozen vegetable bags)
  • plastic milk jugs

Unacceptable:

  • brittle plastics such as strawberry containers
  • plastic lids
  • styrofoam

All tin and glass must be rinsed clean with lids removed.

To save on space stomp on tin cans to flatten.

Acceptable:

  • all metal
  • includes metal lids from glass jars, clean aluminum foil, pie plates

Unacceptable:

  • aerosol containers

Acceptable Other:

  • household batteries
  • ink cartridges

(both must be in a bag inside the recycling bag)

Unacceptable Other:

  • househod chemicals
  • paint
